We are delighted to announce that the Najad Advisory Board can now be announced - and it features some familiar faces..

Najad employs world champions and the boat industry's winners as advisors. These individuals make up Najad's Advisory board.

The objective is to retain and develop Najad's leading position as one of the world's most reputable brands and boats. The group will complement Najad's new management team, providing unique expertise from the world of sailing, boat design and product development.

Berndt Arvidsson

Najad's founder. Since the very beginning, when the first sailing boat was launched back in 1971, his objective has been to give Najad's customers that little extra and the best of everything. That's how it's been and that's how it's going to stay!

Pelle Pettersson

Sweden's most well known name in sailing, with world championships and Olympic medals to his credit. He is known throughout the world for his yachting success in Maxi yachts. His latest construction, the Maxi 1300, was nominated as 'European Yacht of the year' 06/07. He's also an industrial, automotive and product designer.

Magnus 'Mange' Olsson

One of the world's most experienced sailors. After sail racing and sailing around the world six times he knows what's needed from a yacht's design and construction to achieve optimum performance and to feel safe onboard. He's a engineer and Master degree in Science and always considers how constructions can be improved for achieving optimum results.

Fredrik Magnusson

An industrial designer, entrepreneur, long- distance sailor and founder of the design company Propeller design. His strength includes how he works to achieve success caring about the brand's core values and crossing the boundary between design, product development and marketing in projects. His determination has resulted in many successful projects.

Dick Young

Dick Young is an interior boat designer and partner in the design company Rhoades Young. He's very well known and has received awards for his interior designs and has worked on some very prestigious assignments. His 20 years experience as project manager on 50 individual projects from idea stage projects to complete yachts makes him an expert in his field.

Jonathan Rhoades

Jonathan Rhoades is an interior boat designer and partner in the design company Rhoades Young. He has extensive design experience from furniture to industrial design, private homes and retail design. He received his experience using wood, cabinet- making, plastics and forming at Thomas Eriksson Architects Stockholm, one of Sweden's most renowned modern furniture, industrial and interior design architects.
